OURAMBITIONS
OUR MISSION
Brightening the future of the street children, unemployed youths, orphans, disabled, windows and aged individuals in our community
OUR VISSION
To change the lives of the disadvantaged, homeless and unemployed individuals in our community
OUR MISSION
In response to the biblical call to care for orphans, aged and widows in their distress, the mission of blessed children ministry is to secure the future of the orphans, the disabled , widows and the aged
ABOUT US
Blessd children Ministry is located in Uganda- Africa in a small village called Bukoma in Mityana district and it was started mainly to help the orphans and other children who are unable to meet their needs in full because of poor family planning, the scourage of HIV/AIDS and other hazards. It was started by Mr Gozanga in 2018.The group was started to give these children back hope for their future and try to fight illiteracy from our community.
WHAT WE BELIVE
We believe that every child has a right to survival and development. Our principal aim is to provide care to Uganda’s vulnerable children, supporting them within our orphanage, families and communities so that they can thrive.
OUR MAIN AIMS
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Children develop their skills as well as talents in participating in hand crafts like curving, weaving, drawing, construction, knitting, tailoring and training them in computer skills.Buy something cool to take home with you, it might only be a few dollars to you but the children gain great confidence from seeing their hand craft appreciated.
FARMING
We are currently hiring 2.5 hectares of land which we use for growing crops, rearing and poultry . We use some of the crops for food and educational attainment in the due course of developing skills among the young generation
EDUCATING OUR COMMUNITY MEMBERS
For our children to succeed in life, they must have a good education. However many had traumatic early lives with disrupted schooling. The system of education in Uganda has a structure of 7 years of primary education, 6 years of secondary education (divided into 4 years of lower secondary and 2 years of upper secondary school), and 3 to 5 years of post-secondary education, according to Uganda Standard
But what`s sad is that the government of Uganda has not considered education as an essential service to its people. In that way as per our plans, we want to set up a primary and a vocational school in our community.
GOSPEL
Spreading the gospel of God is one of our major goals . As a way of doing this, we have introduced our children to church and we have also encouraged people to attend church services and to give donations to the poor when called for .As per our future plans, we also intend to construct a church where our community members can gather to worship, spread and glorify our Lord
